Fees are due annually and cover the period from 1st October to 30th September, or part thereof.

Membership fees are set annually but are reduced on a pro-rata basis depending on the time of year a person joins.

Archery New Zealand membership is optional. However, archers wishing to participate in Archery New Zealand events and competitions must be registered with Archery New Zealand. If you choose ANZ affiliation, the current 2026–27 membership charge is $36, which is added to the applicable Christchurch Archery Club membership fee.

To become an Archery New Zealand member, you will also need to consent to Christchurch Archery Club providing the required membership information to Archery New Zealand and complete the applicable ANZ consent and waiver requirements.

The current ANZ membership charge for the 2026–27 season is $36 and may change in future seasons.

Family Concession: 3 or more shooting members living in the same household receive a 25% discount off the total Club-only fee.

Payment

Internet banking is the preferred form of payment. Please pay by internet banking into the CAC bank account: 03-1700-0041836-00 Please use your surname and the word "membership fees" in your reference.

Please do not include payment for any other thing with your membership fees as we will not know what you are paying for or the processing of your membership could be delayed while we seek confirmation.

3) Christchurch Archery Club Consents

In accordance with the Privacy Act 1993, I consent to the collection of information for the purpose of membership to The Christchurch Archery Club Inc. I further consent to this information being used where appropriate with the news media for publicity purposes. I acknowledge my right to access, and if necessary, correct this information.

I understand that my information may be shared in conjunction with Archery NZ or other approved bodies such as Sport NZ.

Please Note

I understand that the Christchurch Archery Club Inc. and instructors involved in will exercise due care and operate under recommended safety guidelines. I understand that there are potential risks associated with participating in this activity and that Christchurch Archery Club Inc., its instructors and/or members are not liable for any injury or damage to me or my property which may occur while participating at Christchurch Archery events or gatherings.

4) Eastern Community Sports & Recreation Inc. (ECSR) Consent

In accordance with the Privacy Act 1993 and as an affiliate stakeholder member of ECSR I consent to CAC supplying ECSR with my email details for the sole purpose of receiving information and membership offers on ECSR Stakeholder activities:

5) Archery New Zealand Membership

Archery New Zealand (ANZ) membership is optional. However, you must be registered with ANZ if you wish to take part in ANZ events or competitions.

If you choose ANZ membership, select the appropriate Club + ANZ membership option and complete the ANZ consent and waiver section of this form. The current ANZ membership charge is $36 for the 2026–27 season.

  1. Give CAC a clear indication that you wish to register with ANZ (immediately below).
  2. Complete the ANZ Waiver, Indemnification & Personal information consent declaration form. (Section 6).

Please note that you will need to register with Archery New Zealand to compete in any ANZ events. 

6) Archery NZ membership Addendum

All members of this Affiliated Club are eligible to become full members of Archery NZ (Full Member Shooting or Full Member Non-Shooting based on your club membership type). As a club member, you do not need to pay any additional fees yourself to Archery NZ for this membership. In order to receive full membership rights and benefits as set out in the Archery NZ Constitution, you must consent to this membership. With your consent, the club will share the following information with Archery NZ to activate your membership: name, date of birth, gender, bow division, competition class, contact details, ethnicity (for SportNZ aggregated reporting), and optional information on disabilities or handicaps that may support your participation in a para-archery division (collectively your “Personal Information”). The club will also provide de-identified information about the number and type of our members to Archery NZ as part of the affiliation process. You have the right under the Privacy Act 2020 to access and update your Personal Information, which you can do on Archery NZ’s membership portal at https://archery-nz.tidyhq.com. Please note that even if you do not consent to receive Archery NZ membership, the club pays an affiliation fee to Archery NZ on your behalf.

Waiver & Indemnification

In consideration of the acceptance of my membership or participation in events with Archery NZ:

  • I waive all claims that I may have against the Archery NZ Inc, its officers, directors, members, volunteers, employees, agents and sponsors, or its executors, administrators, heirs, successors or assigns (the organisers), and release them from all claims for death, injury or damage arising out of my participation in their club, their event and its related activities, together with any costs, including legal fees.
  • I agree to indemnify and keep indemnified the organisers against damage arising out of my participation in the events and their related activities.
  • I agree to comply with all the rules, regulations and instructions of the organisers.
  • In the event of injury or illness during participation, I consent to receive medical treatment, which may be deemed advisable by the organisers.
  • I acknowledge that I have sole responsibility for my personal possessions and equipment during all the events and activities.
  • I am aware that photos and videos of me may be taken during Archery NZ events and activities and I hereby permit the reasonable use of these images and my name in Archery NZ-related broadcasts, telecasts, press and websites, provided I have the right to ask Archery NZ to remove my name and picture, or cease using my name and picture altogether, and Archery NZ will comply in relation to any media that it controls.
  • I understand that my membership or entry fee is non-transferable and not refundable.
  • I agree to have my personal details recorded and used by Archery NZ for communications of future related events.
  • I consent to my Personal Information being provided to Archery NZ in order to become a full member of Archery NZ, agree to the Waiver and Indemnification, and agree to abide by the Constitution, Rules and Policies of Archery NZ. (Yes/No)
